In 1977 I was very fortunate meeting the internationally renowned American luthier and instrument maker IRVING SLOANE. He took me under his wings, trained me, guided and inspired me, sharing his wisdom and secrets of building and repairing fine handcrafted classical guitars. When working in my guitar workshop today, I still often gratefully think of Irving, and strive to live up to his uncompromising standards of quality.
